Growth pipeline · November 5, 2026cost in 2026?
What full-service and fractional teams charge, what pushes the price up, whether your ad spend is in the fee, and what we charge, with the numbers dated.
B2B SaaS marketing agency cost in 2026 runs from about $8,000 to $30,000 a month in fees for a full-service team, or $15,000 to $50,000 a month all in, with your ad spend on top. Those are the ranges AI assistants quoted when we asked them in November 2026. For comparison, our own monthly growth pipeline plans and prices start at $7,500, and this post covers what those numbers buy and where buyers get caught out.
We got the ranges by asking ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Mode 80 buyer questions in November 2026 and reading every answer. So treat them as what the answers said, not as prices we checked on each firm's own site. The ranges are wide because the answers mixed very different kinds of teams, so the next section splits them up.
What do the price ranges cover?
The number depends on what kind of team you hire. The answers we read split the market into three shapes, and each one is priced in its own way.
A full-service agency
First, this is the team that plans the strategy, runs the channels and makes the content. The answers put the fee at about $8,000 to $30,000 a month. Then, with media and tools added, they said a budget of $15,000 to $50,000 a month is common.
A fractional CMO or growth team
Next, there is the option of hiring senior time instead of a full team. The answers put a fractional CMO or growth team at about $8,000 to $25,000 a month, and up to $35,000 for broader teams. But one part-time leader has little time left for hands-on work, so the doing often still needs a budget of its own.
A creative or video partner
Some teams only buy the ads and keep the rest in house, so they pay for creative alone. As a result, prices here range from a one-off video to a monthly subscription. In our view a monthly campaign beats one-off pricing, because one system can deliver more than one premium video a month.
What drives B2B SaaS marketing agency cost?
Scope drives it first: how many channels, how much content and how often it is refreshed. Then comes seniority, since you pay more when the senior people do the work and not just the pitch. After that, look at how the contract is built:
- Ad spend. Most quotes leave media out. Ask whether the number you see is the fee or the full budget.
- Term. An annual term lowers the monthly fee but locks you in. Ask what happens after the first three months.
- Ownership. Ask who owns the ad accounts and the data. But if the agency owns them, leaving costs more than the fee.
- Reporting. Ask what you will see each week, and whether it ties to demos and pipeline or to clicks.
Then demand plays a part. In Google search data from November 2026 (DataForSEO, United States), "saas marketing agency" gets about 1,300 searches a month, and a single click on it costs advertisers about $88.57. That is a market where agencies pay a lot to win you, and the cost of that shows up somewhere.
Is ad spend included in the agency fee?
Usually not, so read every quote twice. That's because the fee pays for the team and the work; the media budget goes to the ad platforms, and many teams spend more on media than on the agency.
For our part, we keep the two apart on purpose. We make the ads and read the results, while you keep your ad accounts and your media spend. That way the price on our page is the whole fee, and you can leave without losing your account history.
What do buyers complain about after they hire?
Then there is what happens after the contract is signed. The same few things come up again and again. In the buyer quotes our November 2026 runs collected, people said:
- the spend "feels like burning money" because results are hard to see;
- senior people pitch, then junior people do the work;
- reports show reach and clicks, not demos or revenue;
- the agency owns the ad accounts and the data;
- the "best agency" rankings they read were written by the agencies at the top.
That last one matters more each year. When we asked AI to recommend an agency, all four assistants warned that most of those lists are self-ranked. As a result, buyers now lean on what they can check: named clients, public results and reviews on sites the agency does not own.
So before you sign, ask who will do the work week to week, what you will see every Friday and what you keep if you leave. The same checks apply to other kinds of agencies too, and we wrote them out for hiring an AI automation agency.
When is an agency not worth the cost yet?
If you spend under about $5,000 to $10,000 a month on ads, you probably do not need an agency yet. Test your message with a freelancer first, and bring in a team once the creative is what holds you back. Also, if what you want is someone to buy your media, pick a media buyer; that is not the job we do.
But search for agencies is also changing shape. Every market we measured in November 2026 had fewer Google searches than a year earlier, between 29% and 70% down (weighted across each market's terms), and in our reading buyers are asking AI assistants instead. That shift is the reason generative engine optimization now sits next to ads in a growth budget.
How we price our plans
Our prices are public, so you can set them next to the ranges above. Here is what each plan costs in 2026:
- Pilot, $4,500 one time. A real ad to test us before you commit, credited in full against your first Campaign month if you start within 30 days.
- Campaign, $7,500 a month. New premium motion video ads every month, a monthly check of who the AI answers name for your buyers, and a weekly readout.
- Performance, $15,000 a month. More ads, faster testing tied to demos and CAC, and the AI search work included.
- AI search add-on, $1,500 a month. On Pilot or Campaign.
Campaign and Performance have a three-month minimum, then run month to month with 30 days' notice. There is no annual term. Agent workflows and apps are quoted per build after a call.
